The Sacrament of Baptism is the first step in a lifelong journey of commitment and discipleship. Baptism washes away original sin and incorporates one into the body of Christ. It is received only once in one's lifetime; it is not a repeatable moment. Whether we are baptized as infants or adults, Baptism is the Church’s way of celebrating and enacting the embrace of God.

Baptisms at the Holy Family Worship Site are TBD. Baptisms at the St. Laurence Worship Site are celebrated on the third Sunday of each month in English and Spanish.

Parents and/or legal guardians must call the parish offices to make appointment to see clergy for an interview. At the interview, parents must present the child’s original birth certificate (not a copy) and attend the instructions prior to the ceremony. The Godparents MUST be fully initiated practicing Catholics and have proof to show it via a sponsor letter from the church they are registered at or other religious notarized documentation. Children 7 years old and above should register for Religious Education classes.
